Mrs. Betty Jane Salosa, 74, of Long Beach, MS, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2007, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Salosa was born in Hanover, PA., on January 16, 1933, to Charles Edward and Sadie Elizabeth (nee Duttera) Lockner and was the youngest of five children. She attended Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD., where she received her nursing degree and was a registered nurse for forty years. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach for the past twenty-five years and was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, and a son, Kevin Coffey, of Baltimore, Md.
Mrs. Salosa was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Catalino D. """"Sal"""" Salosa of Long Beach; her devoted daughters, Michelle Joy (Nelson) Brown of Mobile, Al, and Stephanie Lynn (Matthew) Robertson of Long Beach; and two loving granddaughters, Amber Monet Robertson and Sadie Leigh Robertson, both of Long Beach.
A private memorial mass will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach on Wednesday, November 7, 2007. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME in Long Beach is in charge of arrangements.
