Betty J. Reeves, 78 of Long Beach, MS died on Monday March 3, 2008 in Gulfport, MS.
Mrs. Reeves was a native of Wellington, KS and has lived in various parts of the country. She enjoyed traveling, needlepoint and crocheting. Mrs. Reeves was retired from Stewart Sneed and Hewes and was a member of Bay Saint Louis Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents Henry M. Brewer and Rhoda Wykes Brewer; her brothers and her sisters. She is the last of 10 children.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years Bob Reeves; children Craig Reeves of Charlotte, NC and Carlene Beck of Falmouth, MA; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 from 6pm until 7pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd., Long Beach.
Services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 12:30 a.m. at the Long Beach Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Memorial Foundation to Benefit Heart Services of Memorial Hospital Gulfport; P.O. Box 940, Gulfport, MS 39502.
