Betty J. McQueen

Betty J. McQueen, age 83, of Bay St. Louis, passed away peacefully at her home on January 13, 2025.

She was born January 31, 1941 to Joseph Marvin and Clara Belle Richard of the Lorraine community. Mrs. McQueen attended Woolmarket High School and graduated from Harrison Central High School. She was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast and was a member of the Coalville Methodist Church in Woolmarket and Main St. United Methodist Church in Bay St. Louis. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Marvin and Clara Belle Richard; a baby brother, George C. Richard; and a sister, Dorothy C. Robinson of Woolmarket.

Mrs. McQueen is survived by her 2 sons, James B. Necaise, Jr. (Debra) and Robert M. Necaise, Sr (Evette); 2 grandsons, Robert M. Necaise, Jr (Addie) and Brandan S. Necaise (Chelsea); 2 great-grandsons, Nathan J. Necaise and Nolan J. Necaise, all of Bay St. Louis. 

A private graveside service will be held in Coalville Cemetery in Woolmarket.

The Riemann Family Funeral Home, 141 Hwy 90, Waveland, is serving the family.
