Betty Mae Cuevas, age 87, of DeLisle, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023, in Bay St. Louis, MS surrounded by her loved ones.
Betty Mae is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Oliver Cuevas, Sr., her son Everett Oliver Cuevas, Jr., her great grandson Cameron Cuevas, her mother Elsie Necaise Gilbert and her father Clarence “Pete” Peterson. She is survived by her sister; Cathleen Scarborough, her children; Gloria (Rex) Necaise, Mary “Kathy” (Darcy) Cuevas, Dana Cuevas, Anthony (Pam) Cuevas; her grandchildren, Alan Necaise, Paul Cuevas, Everett “Lil Butch” Cuevas, Brad Necaise, Darin Cuevas, Mandy Cuevas, Joey Necaise, Craig Cuevas, Josh Necaise, Brittany Parker, Destre Ladner, Karly Cuevas, Kellin Cuevas; 32 Great-Grandchildren, 10 Great-great- grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Betty Mae was a devout Catholic and active member at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in DeLisle, and then at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She loved her family. She especially loved spending time with her family during Mardi Gras, riding in parades with The Krewe of Tradition.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 12:30 pm-2:30 pm at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln Delisle Rd. Pass Christian, with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 2:30 pm. Interment will follow at New Delisle Cemetery.
In Lieu of flower the family requests that monetary contributions be made to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Dunbar Village in Bay St. Louis, and the nurses at Notre Dame Hospice for assisting with her care. Special thanks to her daughter-in-law Pam Cuevas, for her many years of selflessness, compassionate love, and tremendous devotion.
