Betty Dailey, age 84, passed away at her home on August 17, 2018 in Gulfport, MS.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, MSGT Leonard Jernigan, US Air Force retired; second husband, MSGT James Dailey, US Marine Corps retired; two daughters, Marilyn Jernigan and Beverly Hood; and her parents, Hobson and Ruth Lester.
She is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Eid of Gulfport; and six grandchildren and their families, including seven great-grandchildren.
She was born in Bradley, AR and was of the Baptist faith. She was an active member of the American Legion Unit 119, serving three terms as President of the auxiliary and was Mardi Gras Queen in 1990. Her hobbies were gardening, crocheting, and bowling.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 2 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUENRAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
