Betty Erlenbusch Burchard, 81, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS.
Mrs. Burchard worked 40 plus years in the retail field with Sears and Gayfers, where she was a Personnel Manager and Buyer. After retirement she was active and a member of the Arts Association and Tourism Commission on the Gulf Coast, up until Hurricane Katrina; after which she and her husband moved to Brandon, MS.
She is survived by her husband Harry Burchard, married for 62 years. Sons, Danny Burchard and wife Gwynn Burchard of Brandon, MS, Scott and Amy Burchard of Reno, NV, and granddaughter Kendall of Reno.
Graveside service will be held at 11:30 am Saturday, March 6, 2010, at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Gulfport, MS. Arrangements handled by RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport.
