Betty Lou Bobinger, age 73, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2008, in Biloxi. Betty was of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl & Thelma Kisner and a sister, Marie Kisner.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Alvin """"Andy"""" Bobinger; her siblings, Jack Kisner and wife Olivia, Albert Kisner, Thelma Viator, Abigail Young, and Michael Kisner and wife Maryann. Although Betty had no children of her own, she was loved as a mother by her stepchildren, Sandra Kendall and husband Johnny, Roland Bobinger and wife Susan, Lois Gilbert and husband Rick, and Roy Bobinger.
Betty, known as """"Nanny"""", was a wonderful and loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was also a caring grandmother to many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Betty worked for many years for the Army Air Force Exchange Service as an auditor. She retired in 1998 as a rural carrier for the United States Postal Service.
To Betty though, the most important job she had was caring for her family, having begun this at an early age and continuing throughout her life. For this we are all very grateful.
Accorinding to Betty's wishes, a private service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601-7633.
