Betty Walters Blackledge, age 88, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018 in Gulfport.
She was A member of the OES Perkinston Chapter #376 and a Past Worthy Matron of the OES Handsboro Chapter. Mrs. Blackledge attended Klein Road Church of God, Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Onyx and Azelyn Walters; daughters, Charlotte Dianne Miller and Marsha Lynn Sellier; sisters, Helen Henry, Annie Gay Walters; brother, Jerry Walters.
She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Charles C. Blackledge; sister, Edwina Long; brothers, James W. Walters (Jean) and Larry Walters; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 12:00PM until 1:00PM on Monday, December 17, 2018 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 1:00PM in the funeral home Chapel. A burial will take place at 11:00AM on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Biloxi National Cemetery.
