Betty Nell Malley Bentz, age 93, of Long Beach, left to be with the Lord on April 6, 2024.
Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a nurse for many years then she worked at the Navy base as a craft tech before she retired.
Betty was a devout catholic and was a faithful member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Long Beach. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Loved playing cards and dice games with friends and family.
She was preceded in death, Stanaforth L. Bentz, Jr; her parents, Leander P. and Julie M. Necaise Malley; 2 brothers, Larry and Donald Malley; 2 sisters, Judy Malley and Myra Malley Kopf; and a grandson, Donald L. Bentz.
Survivors include her children, Wayne (Tammie) Bentz and Kenny Bentz; 2 siblings, Ned Malley and Linda (Mike) Williams; her in-laws, Leonard (Helen) Bentz, Sr, Shirley O’Hera, and Paul Kopf; her grandchildren, Mindy Bentz Lee (Eric), Benjamin Bentz (Amanda), Aaron Bentz (Jenny), and Bethany Yates (Daniel); great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Collin Lee, Sarina Husley, Grayson and Avery Werner, Brycin and Cameron Bentz; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 E Beach Blvd, Long Beach, MS 39560.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 12, 2024, from 9:30 – 11 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am in the church. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
