Betty Jean Arnold, age 77, of Gulfport, born Dec. 20, 1933, to Desie Cuevas and Eluvia Thigpen Cuevas in Picayune, MS, departed this world to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on January 2, 2011, surrounded by her family.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Buddy Cuevas, Bidwell Cuevas, Sydney Ray Cuevas, sister, Rosemary Parker, a daughter, Wanda Jean Moore, and a grandson, Rodney ""Billy"" Moore, Jr., and her former husbands, Dewey R. Moore, and Robert R. Seal.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Arnold, 2 sons, Rodney Moore and wife Joan, and Jason Parker, 2 brothers, John Cuevas and Elmer Cuevas, a sister, Gracie Fore, and grandchildren, Dawn Moore, Dewey Moore, Lindsay Johnson, Landon Parker, Dakota and Hope Waller, and 2 great-grandchildren, Ty and Jaxson Moore, and numerous nieces, nephews, and several friends.
Betty was a wonderful goodhearted person who helped anyone at anytime. She will be sadly and greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Visitation will be Thursday, 1-6-2011 from 11am - 1 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road. The service will be at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in the Evergreen Gardens Cemetery.
