Beryl Dalgo Woodruff, born in Ocean Springs, MS, to Ethel and Lawrence Dalgo, departed this life on May 28, 2010, in Ocean Springs.
Mrs. Woodruff was the widow of Hubert C. Woodruff of Biloxi, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, her only sibling, M. B. Dalgo, and her husband.
She was the loving aunt of Linda D. Bradford (Paul) of Biloxi; and Larry F. Dalgo (Ann) of Fort Morgan, Alabama. In addition, she is survived by Brad Bradford (Peggy), Jennifer Bradford, Ashley Skinta (Tommy), Austin Dalgo (Meghan), Jordan Bradford, Andie Bradford, Bailey and Sydney Hoffman.
For those who knew Beryl, she was a quiet, loving individual who only wanted to extend generosity and never expected anything in return. Her greatest joy was to share good times surrounded by those she knew and loved. She will always be remembered as our wise, gentle, and loving aunt who was a steady force in our lives. Thanks, Bebe, for all you were to each of us.
Mrs. Woodruff retired from Civil Service at Keesler Air Force Base in March 1978. During her working career at Keesler, she was chosen Biloxi's Outstanding Career Woman, and was also a member of First Methodist Church, Daughters of the Nile, and Joppa Shrine Auxiliary.
In memory of her deceased husband, please make donations to the Shrine Crippled Children's Fund for Transportation in care of Joppa Temple, 13280 Hwy 67, Biloxi, MS 39532.
To Margie Kellums and the entire staff of Settlers Point, her home for the past two years, our heartfelt gratitude for the loving care given to """"Mrs.Woodie"""", and to Debbie Dubuisson, Janice Ivey, and the Camellia Hospice Team for their compassion, concern, and care in her last days.
