Bertha Johnson

Bertha Jean Johnson, age 77 of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020.

She was a native of Waco, TX and retired as a court clerk from Galveston County Justice Court.

Bertha was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas E. and Bertha Mayes Honea; and her sister, Joyce Wilson.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ron Johnson; her children, Nathan Wofford (Melinda) Dickinson, TX, Tamara Johnson, Seattle, WA, and Kara Davis (Troy), Warren, RI; her grandchildren, Justin Wofford, Gulfport, MS and Gracie Davis, Warren, RI; her great grandchild, Isabella Wofford, Gulfport, MS; and her siblings, Wayne Honea, Waco, TX, Sherri Woolard (Gary), China Spring, TX, and Susie Doty, Teague, TX.

A Service of Celebration will be held at the Freedom River Church in Gulfport, following the morning church service on Sunday, March 22, 2020.  Dr. Keith Thrash will be officiating.
