Mrs. Bertha Jane Gay, age 78, resident of Long Beach, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Gay was born in Stone County to the late Nathan and Gladys Burdeaux Williams. She was a member of the North Long Beach Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard W. Gay, and her parents.
She is survived by son, William """"Bill"""" Gay of Long Beach and his wife Shirley, son, Russell Gay of Pass Christian and his wife Betty; and grandson, Richard Gay, II of Gulfport.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2008, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd., Long Beach, where friends may call from 10-11 a.m. A procession will leave the funeral home at 11 a.m. going to Woodlawn Cemetery in Wiggins for graveside funeral services.
