Bernice M. Orr

Mrs. Bernice M. Orr, 86, of Pass Christian, MS passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 in Gulfport, MS.
Mrs. Orr was born in Shreveport, LA to Clarence M. and Myrtle Self, on January 12, 1926. She was an accountant, office manager, and an Air Force wife in St. Louis, Missouri, until her retirement with her husband MSgt. William J. Orr, USAF. At that time (1993), they moved to Pass Christian, MS.
She was preceded in death by her son, Barry Orr, her parents, and two brothers, Homer and Aubry Self.
She is survived by her husband, MSgt. William J. Orr, USAF of 68 years. Married March 11, 1944 in Bossier City, LA, they traveled to numerous Air Force Installations together in the United States and Overseas.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Boyington Rehab Center for all their kind considerations.
A visitation will be held from 12 Noon until 2:00 pm, Friday, March 30, 2012, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, MS. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens, Long Beach, MS.
