Bernadette Hansen

Bernadette Fayard Hansen, age 94, of Gulfport, passed away on September 30, 2011 in Gulfport.
She was the beloved daughter of the late W. H. Fayard, Sr and Frances Fayard;
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Hansen McNeil; five brothers, W.H. Fayard, Jr, A.C. Fayard, Ed Fayard, C.M. ""Mackie"" Fayard, and J.R. Fayard, Sr; and a sister, Dorothy Fayard Smith.
Sh is survived by her sister, Leta Fayard Blake Hug of Gretna, LA; three grandchildren, Elizabeth McNeil O'Dell, Melissa McNeil, and James McNeil, Jr; a son in law, James McNeil, Sr; two sisters in law, Helen Fayard and Carloyn Fayard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Gulfport.
Memorial donations may be made to the Society of St. Vincent DePaul, 366 Cowan Rd, Gulfport, MS 39507.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Gulfport, with a visitation from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport.
