Bernadette Arceneaux-Thiel

Bernadette Scott Arceneaux-Thiel, age 74, a native of Jefferson Parish, LA and a resident of Bay St. Louis, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Virgie Scott; first husband of 50 years, Andrew J. Arceneaux, Jr.; her 2nd born daughter, Nellie May Arceneaux; and her brother, Kelly Roy Michael Scott.

Bernadette is survived by her husband of 1 ½ years, Keith Thiel; her children, Andrew J. Arceneaux, Linda Lambert (Bob), Rose Arceneaux; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

She was a stay-at-home wife who enjoyed a variety of things, flowers, paint by number, and time with her children and grandchildren.

Bernadette was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma (ma ma) too, and leaves a legacy for us to learn from and be proud of. We love you….

The visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 141 Hwy 90, Waveland beginning at 1:00 pm until the funeral service at 3:00 in the funeral home chapel.
