Benny J. Surratt

Benny J. Surratt, age 69, of Biloxi, passed away on August 25, 2012 in Biloxi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Howard Surratt and Lillian Inez Hill Surratt; and his first wife, Sandra Jean Varnado Surratt.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth P. Boswell Surratt of Biloxi; his children, Donna Marie Surratt Smith and her husband, James ""Mike"" of Gulfport, Laura Lynn Surratt Pair and her husband, Robert, of Picayune, Garlon Todd Boswell and his wife, Robin, of Ocean Springs, and Alan Trent Boswell of New Orleans; and his grandchildren, Garlon Todd Boswell, Jr, Sally Reid Boswell, Courtney Suzanne Pair, and Dylan Bradley Pair.
He worked with Reichold Chemical / Arizona Chemical as a chemist for twenty eight years and currently worked for Highside Chemical.
He was a member of Beauvoir United Methodist Church, Biloxi.
He loved his family and many friends and was loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed fishing and traveling.
DUE TO THE STORM, SERVICES HAVE BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY, AUGUST 31 at 2:00 PM at Beauvoir United Methodist Church with a visitation from Noon until the service. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
