Benny R. Mouring, age 70, of Gulfport, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, in Diamondhead.
Mr. Mouring was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Orange Grove #635. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. One of four initially trained to operate the P&H Alpha Crane in North America, he trained thousands to operate the crane. He enjoyed the outdoors and landscaping.
Mr. Mouring was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon W. Mouring and Henrietta L. Fairley.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Joanne Mouring, of Gulfport; his children, Richard Mouring, Sonia Buckman, Mark Mouring, Bryan Mouring and his wife, Robin, Gordon Mouring, and Scott Mouring and his wife, Maranda; his brothers, Wayne Mouring and Keath Young; and his sisters, Carolyn Gonzales and Claudette Leslie; 19 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2009, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at 8:45 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
