Belinda Roberson

Belinda Roberson, age 66, of Perkinston, passed away on December 11, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Dimple Fairley; her brothers, Braxton (Walley) and Tommy Fairley; her granddaughter, Breauna DeLano; her nephew, Thomas Fairley; and her fur baby, Angel.

Belinda is survived by her children, Sarah Cuevas (Marvin) and Rachael Hernandez (Noel); her grandchildren, Destiny DeLano, Ashtyn DeLano, Tyler Cuevas, Alyssa Cuevas, Marvin Cuevas III, Fisher Jackson, Hailey Garner, and Savannah Litsey; her great grandchildren, DeKland DeLano, Kingston Cuevas, and M.J. Cuevas; her sister-in-law and best friend, Peggy Fairley; and her great nephew, Dominic Thomas.

She is a native of D’Iberville, MS and a resident of McHenry, MS. Belinda graduated from D’Iberville High School and then went to beauty school. Growing up, she spent much of her time working at the Golden Gate Skate Rink. She then went to beauty school, as well as, worked on the Biloxi police force. Belinda was the co-owner for a company that her and her husband started together. After many years of working, she retired and loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. Belinda adored her grandchildren, and they have many wonderful memories to cherish.

Belinda enjoyed going to the mall and family dinners. She was loved by so many, and everyone called her “MawMaw.” She is now with her parents and brother, whom she had missed dearly. This is not goodbye, instead, we will see you later “MawMaw”.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, from 9:30 am -  11 am at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, McHenry.
