Barbara Pixler

Barbara Jeanette (Baldridge) Pixler age 79, a resident of Ocean Springs passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at We Care Hospice in Moss Point, MS.

Preceded in Death by her husband, Gary Pixler; her mother, Mary Baldridge; her father, Stoye Baldridge; and her brother, Jack Baldridge.

She is survived by her only child, her daughter, Sandy (Pixler) Meyers; her son-in-law, Richard Meyers; her seven grandsons, James (Victoria), Alexander, Michael, Christopher, Samuel, Eric and Jayden; and her two great-granddaughters, Addison and Grace.

Born in Blytheville, Arkansas, she lived all over the south and in Japan before her husband retired from the US Air Force and they settled permanently in Ocean Springs.

She spent 45 years selling Avon, which she loved.  More recently, she enjoyed a laidback lifestyle with her beloved terriers.

She was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer (even though a non-smoker) in June and was admitted into hospice at the end of July.  Her family was with her every day until she passed.  She will be missed, but they know she is young and happy and healthy where she is now, and they can’t wait to see her again.

She requested that no one send flowers after she passed.  Please make donations to “Home of Grace” in Southern Mississippi instead.
