Barbara jean Murry

Barbara Jean Chapman Murry, 76, a longtime resident of Long Beach died Wednesday, July 25, 2007 in Gulfport.
Barbara was born on June 18th, 1931 in Bow London, England and came to the US as a young bride. SHe was the wife of the late retired Navy aSeabee, Sr Master Chief Beryl Lee Murry.
Due to hurricane Katrina, she was evacuated to Tupelo and then returned back to Gulfport and spent the last year at the Boyington Nursing Home.
Mrs. Murry was a avid reader, enjoyed music and loved her animals. She was a member of St. Patrick's Episcopal Church Long Beach and the Long Beach Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star.
She will be sadly missed by her nephew Raymond and his wife Marion and their son James in England.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 4, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church, 526 E. 2nd Street, Pass Christian, at 11 a.m. with visitation starting one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Long Beach.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to: St. Patrick's Episcopal Church of Long Beach.
