Mrs. Barbara G. """"Babs"""" Lynch, age 75, resident of Pass Christian, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2009, with her family by her side.
Mrs. Lynch was born on September 24, 1933 in Fayette, AL, to the late Walter L. and Ernestine Hogue McDaniel. After high school, she attended Montevallo College in Montevallo, AL. She met Charles C. Lynch and in 1954 they married in New Orleans. She was co-founder, with her husband, of C.C. Lynch and Associates, Inc. in 1966, where she made a lifelong contribution. She was of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Lynch; parents; son, Pat Lynch; and brother, Malcolm McDaniel.
She is survived by her children, Crail Lynch and his wife Sandy of Birmingham, AL, Kathleen Lynch of New Orleans, Sharon Lynch Fitzgerald and her husband Raymond of Phenix City, AL, Hewson Lynch and his wife Melanie of Pass Christian, Kelly Lynch and his wife Terri of Long Beach, and Malcolm Lynch and his wife Beverly of Long Beach; sister, Dorothy McDaniel of Fayette, AL; 26 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, at 2 p.m., where friends may visit one hour prior to services.
Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society at www.nationalmssociety.org.
