Barbara B. Hagwood, 81, of Gulfport passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011.
Mrs. Hagwood was born in Agawam, MA on June 7, 1930. She was married to Leon Paul Hagwood, Jr. and has been a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast.
She retired as a Nurse from the VA Hospital after 25 years of service.
Mrs. Hagwood was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Paul Hagwood, Jr.
Survivors include her six children, Dianne Douglas of Jackson, Paulette Sternberg of Waveland, Leon Hagwood of Gulfport, Joey Hagwood of Saucier, Brian Hagwood of Gulfport, and Brenda Bingham of Gulfport; sister, Betty Tetreault; brother, William Beauchane; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
The funeral service will be held Friday, July 8, 2011 at 12:30 pm, with visitation two hours prior, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport.
Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
