Mrs. Barbara F. Banks, age 53, died at her home in Gulfport, MS on Wednesday, March 24, 2010.
Barbara was born in Oneonta, NY to John and Betty Rosher. Barbara was a graduate of Upstate Medical College at Syracuse, NY where she received a Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy. She was an accomplished therapist having worked and lived throughout the U.S. She was especially proud of her service with the early intervention of children's needs.
Married in 1981 to Timothy Banks, Barbara raised a family that includes sons Benjamin of Voorheesville, NY, William of Burlington, VT, and Nicholas of Gulfport, MS.
She is survived by her husband, her children, her father, John Rosher of Oneonta, NY, her brother David Rosher of Lexington, VA, and her treasured pet, Millie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Physical Therapy Department at Helping Hands School, 41 Werner Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
