Mrs. Aurora Hernandez, age 77 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Sunday, July 20, 2008, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Hernandez had been a resident of the MS Gulf Coast for the past 36 years and was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport.
Mrs. Hernandez is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel & Vicenta Ybarra Luna and her brothers, Jesus Luna & Arturo Luna.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Mencho Hernandez of Gulfport; her daughters, Helen (Charlie) Chapman and Patricia Anne Gonzalez and her son, Michael Hernandez all of Gulfport; her sisters, Maria Garcia and her brother, Juan Luna both of Lubbock, TX; and her grandchildren, Lauren Longnecker of Colorado, Alayne Chapman, Kiana Chapman, and Ralph Yarbrough all of Gulfport.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at 11:00am at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. For more information, please call (228)539-9800.
