Augusta S. Mason, age 88, died Monday, February 24, 2014.
Mrs. Mason was born on August 14, 1925 in Carroll County, MS to Dalton and Rosalie Seago. She was the first and only daughter followed by six sons.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, always unselfishly giving to those she loved. She was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. She was an active member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 55 years, James T. Mason, and her brothers, Kenneth, Clayton, David, and Dossie Seago.
She is survived by her son, Retired Major James ""Gil"" Mason, (Robin), her daughter, Margaret Mason Clark (Don), 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 2 brothers, D.G. Seago and Gene Seago.
The funeral service will be at 10 am Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. Visitation will be from 9 - 10 am.
Interment will be in Evergreen Gardens Cemetery.
