Audrey Kate Trippe, 94, of Long Beach died Saturday, July 08, 2006 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Trippe lived most of her life in Carthage and was a resident of the coast for 11 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Carthage and she enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, and quilting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joy Guice Trippe; parents, John and Myrtle Oliphant, and a brother, G. Roby Oliphant.
Survivors include her son, JD (Penny) Tripp, Long Beach; 2 brothers: W.H. Oliphant, Madison, MS and Gorman Oliphant, Tustin, CA; 4 grandchildren: Amy (Louis) Elias, Tim (Stacey) Tripp, Bo Collins, and Christy Peterson; 4 great-grandchildren: J.T. Tripp, Faith Peterson, Guice Tripp, and Tripp Elias.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 - 8 pm at Wilcox Funeral Home, Carthage, MS. The funeral service will be at 10 am Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Carthage Cemetery.
