Audrey Sarris

Audrey Mary Stevens Sarris, age 79, of Long Beach, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2010 in Biloxi.
Mrs. Sarris was a devout member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church where she served on the parish council and was a member of the Legion of Mary. Her faith in God was an example to all those her life blessed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold A. Stevens and Mildred Lannan Stevens, a sister, Mildred Kornick, a brother, Lannan Stevens, a granddaughter, Emily White, and Frank Sarris.
Survivors include her children, Kathy (Wayne) Elias, Susan (Mike) Evans, Cindy (Bobby) Vogt, and Sharon (Mike) White, a sister, Rini Frantz, her grandchildren, Melissa (Ben) Boyd, Elizabeth Elias, Lauren (Thomas) Carter, Jake (Jamie Walker) White, Zachary Vogt, Will White, Rani Vogt, Sydney Evans, Andria Booles, and Gina Kinter, and her great-grandchildren, Nicholas Boyd, Luke Boyd, Charles Boyd, and an expected great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 14, 2010 from 11:30 - 12:30 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Long Beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 at the church.
Interment will be in Long Beach City Cemetery.
