Audrey Mae Lizana Manuel, age 78 of Pass Christian, died on Saturday, January 26, 2008 in Pass Christian.
Mrs. Manuel was a great cook, spotless housekeeper, beautiful seamstress and loved to do embroidery work. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Pass Christian.
Mrs. Manuel is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Paul & Jessie Jewel Stewart Lizana; her husbands, Dennis Ulrich and Clarence Manuel; a sister, Marion Glassey and her brothers, Burt Lizana and Leland Lizana.
She is survived by her son, C.J. Manuel; her daughter, Gwen (Danny) Davis; her sisters, Virginia Bazzell, Della Mevius, Joyce Cuevas, and Wilma Necaise; her grandchildren, Crystal Bracther, Brian Manuel, Sabrina Hull, Danny Davis, Jr., and Jeremy (Amanda) Davis and her great grandchildren, Sarah Ann Hull, Jason Hull, Bethany Hull, Kayla Saucier, Donavan Saucier, David Bracther, Jr., Alexis Davenport, and Erin Davis; Alice Barkum, a family nurse who took loving care of her and her very caring hospice nurse, Brenda Dubuisson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 from 6-8pm at THE RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 10:00am at the Holy Family Parish, 22342 Evangeline Road in Pass Christian, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Old Delisle Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Doug Bazzell, Ricky Bazzell, Sr., Ricky Bazzell, Jr., Bruce Cuevas, Joey Mevius, and Frankie Necaise.
