Audrey Marie Baudier Brown

Audrey Marie Baudier Brown, age 85, resident of Gulfport passed away January 17, 2012 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Brown moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in January of 1947. Audrey was a graduate of Loyola University of the South and the University of Southern Mississippi. She taught school at Harrison Central Junior High School for 2 ½ years and worked at Harrison County DPW for 14 years. In January of 1978, she went to work for South Mississippi Regional Center as a Social Worker. She was a member of and sang in the choir at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Marie Baudier; her husband, Robert Brown; her sons, William J. Brown and Edward Brown; her sisters, Marie Louise Aspelund and M. Adelaide Madigan; and her brothers, Louis Maurice Baudier, Jr. and Robert Baudier.
Survivors include her children, Thomas R. Brown, John M. Brown, Marie Nance, Teresa Hisaw, Susan Burris, and Angela Tehson; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:15 am, Thursday, January 19, 2011 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Lizana. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
