Aubrey Vaughn, Jr.

Aubrey Edward Vaughn, Jr., age 91, of Fort Walton Beach, FL, passed into his rest Tuesday, February 8, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Vaughn Haas and Lillie Vaughn Gewinner; and his brothers, Albert H. Vaughn and Milton C. Vaughn.

Aubrey is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Norma T. Vaughn; his children, Aubrey E. Vaughn, III and Kathleen L. Vaughn; and his grandchildren, Noah Vaughn and Abigail Vaughn.

Born in St Louis, MO, he grew up in DeSoto, MO and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from Washington University of St. Louis.  Commissioned in the Army, he served overseas as an Ordnance officer from 1953-1955 and in the Army Reserve from 1955-1966.

Aubrey and Norma owned several businesses together and traveled extensively. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Fort Walton Beach and the Masonic Lodge.

Visitation and memorial service will be held on 3 March at First United Methodist Church in Fort Walton Beach FL.
