Aubrey Allen Clements

Aubrey Allen Clements, a native of Ohatchee, AL and a longtime resident of Gulfport, MS, passed away Friday, February 3, 2023, at the age of 83.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther P. Clements and Iva Griffin Clements, brothers, Alvis Clements and Julian Clements, in-laws: John and Lexie Moore, Pansy Grant, and Darrell Moore.

Allen is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Billie Ann Clements, sister, Marriam Clements, in-laws: Hugh Moore (Lela), Tom Moore, Sr (Connie), Barbara Hair (Dennis) and Keith Moore (Melissa). Also, numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Ohatchee High School, retired after 22 years of service from the United States Air Force as a Master Sgt., then continued his service as a civil Engineer at Keelser Air Force Base for another 15 years. 

When asked how he was feeling, Allen would always say “Fair to Middlin” or “I refuse to answer on the grounds that it might tend to incriminate me”. He was a Christian Baptist and enjoyed fishing and football.

The family would like to thank Notre Dame Hospice, Memorial Hospital Lung Clinic, and Dr. Paul Matherne for all of their help and compassion.

In Lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Shriners Hospital or American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 6, 2023 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS starting at 10:00am with funeral service at 11:00am.  Burial with Military Honors will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport, MS.

The Family is requesting that all guest attending the service wear a mask inside the building.
