SMSgt Arthur E. Lewis, USAF, Ret., age 87, of Gulfport, passed away on June 24, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Karla F. Lewis; and his parents, George and Beulah Lewis.

He is survived his children, Debbie Lewis Armstrong, Wayne Lewis (Sech),and Lisa Barham (Robert);; 6 grandchildren, Ashley Gray (Scott), Brian Armstrong, Tiffany Lewis, Lindsey Lewis, Brandy Pickerel, and Jack Moore. Jr; great-grandchildren, Madelyn Gray, Cameron Armstrong, Baleigh Armstrong, and Damian Pickerel; and other relatives and friends.

Mr. Lewis was a native of Cuba, AL and he served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, Vietnam War, and Gulf War. He retired in 1993 as a Senior Master Sergeant after serving over 42 years of honorable service. He enjoyed camping, traveling, fishing, and spending time with his family.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am Monday, June 29, 2020, at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, where friends may visit from 9:30 – 11 am. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.

Due to Covid-19, the mandate will only allow 50 people in the funeral home for the visitation and service.
