Arthur Benjamin Edwards, Jr.

Arthur Benjamin Edwards, Jr., a native of Detroit, Michigan and longtime resident of the Woolmarket Community in Biloxi, MS passed away with his loving wife by his side at his home on February 4, 2023, at the age of 88 years old.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur B. Edwards, Sr., and Leona Baker Edwards; his two brothers; and his sister.

Arthur served his country in the US. Air Force, was a retired minister and loved his Woolmarket Baptist Church family. 

Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his wife and children.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 66 years, Janet (Vesser) Edwards; his daughter and son in law, Carol and Joseph Hough of Pleasant Shade; and son, Arthur James “Jimmy” Edwards, of New Orleans.

A visitation for friends and family will be held at Woolmarket Baptist Church, on February 16, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service.  Burial in Biloxi National Cemetery will follow at 2:30 p.m.
