Arthur G. Brock, 64, of Gulfport, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010.
Mr. Brock was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a member of the Army National Guard. He enjoyed the country; his motor cycle, boat, and animals; and all forms of farm life.
Mr. Brock was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward and Lorraine Felton Brock; his brother, James Ervin Brock; and his nephew, John D. Brock, Jr.
Mr. Brock is survived by his wife, Karen; his siblings, Helen Pierce (Floyd), Anita McAllister (Ivan), Katherine Strickland (Clyde), and Johnny Brock, Sr. (Kathy); and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Alan Simmons, Jeff Steady, John Sweitzer, John Dean, James Fairley, and Giles Lanasa. Honorary pallbearers will be Devan Penton, Donald Garriga, Ron Garriga, and Douglas Brock.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2010 from 6 to 8 pm for family and friends at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10 am Wednesday, April 7, 2010, with a visitation from 9 am unitl service time.
Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Gulfport.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to National Kidney Foundation, 4209 Lakeland Dr Ste 298, Flowood, MS 39232-9212; or the American Heart Association 2159 East Pass Road, Gulfport, MS 39507-3802.
