Arnold Anthony Ladner, 77, of Kiln died Monday, June 19, 2006 in Kiln.
Mr. Ladner was a native and lifelong resident of Hancock County. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church. He enjoyed farming, especially his tractor, and raising hogs and cows.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Celia Cuevas Ladner; sisters: Exie Ladner, Paverine Saucier, Thelma Holden, Verine Cameron, and Vertie Saucier; brothers: Oswald Ladner, Oliver """"R.Jack"""" Ladner, and Holland Ladner; and a grandson, Brian Hoda.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Patsy Ladner; 1 son, Marty Ladner, daughters and sons-in-law: Karen (Tim) Whetzel, Marsha (Derek) Necaise, and Carla (Willie) Santiago; daughter-in-law: Diane Ladner; 8 grandchildren: Chad, Jeremy, Ashley, Brooke, Jordan, Aaron, Lindsay, and Shelby; and 2 great-grandchildren: Caden and Bailey.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 22, 2006 from 6 - 10 p.m. at Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, Inc., Kiln DeLisle Rd. Chapel. A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:40 a.m. Friday for 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Annunciation Catholic Church.
Interment will be in Standard Sandhill Cemetery.
