Arnold """"Skip"""" Funk. age 48 and a resident of Gulfport, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2007 in Biloxi.
Skip was born in Williamsburg, VA. He was a welder and of the Methodist faith. Skip enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle with his """"buddies"""" and taking care of his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry W. Funk, Sr; his maternal grandparents, Wesley and Dovie Arnold; his paternal grandparents, Emery and Julia Funk and his uncle, Jimmy Scott Funk.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 7 years, Bridget Oliver Funk; two beautiful daughters, that were the center of his life, Katie Maria Funk and Monica Nicole Funk; his mother, Nean Funk; his three brothers, Jerry Funk and his wife Jewel, Mike Funk and Scott Funk of Brunswick, GA; his sister, Darlene Johnson; 24 nieces and nephews; 11 great nieces and nephews and numerous friends, that will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 10, 2007 from 6-8pm at THE RIEMANN FAMILY'S FUNERAL HOME, 11266 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Woolmarket Cemetery in Biloxi.
