Armida L. (OaÌ‚â‚â„¢Neal) Van Bergen of Concord, California entered her heavenly home on December 19, 2005.
She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and active with the XYZ club at church. Armida was a retired Civil Service Worker of 33 years. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. While in high school, Armida enjoyed playing on the Success High School basketball team. She was born in Saucier, MS, December 20, 1934 to Loren E. and Jewell E. (Walker) OaÌ‚â‚â„¢Neal and she moved to California in 1958.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Dana and Patricia van Bergen and daughters and sons-in-law, Fonda and Keith Mahan, Cindie and Kenneth Martiny, and Tarrita and Dana Myers; thirteen grandchildren, Richard Martiny, Celina and Kevin Davis, Kristina and Nick Mills, Trista and Marissa Mahan, Stefani, Zachary and Brianna Myers, Sean van Bergen and Cece and Colin Miller; five great grandchildren, Andrea and Sierra Davis, Chadd and Blaze Martiny and Nicole Mills; sisters and brother-in-law, Mereline Walker, Christine and Robert Wallace, Bettye Gibbs, and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Emory and Betty OaÌ‚â‚â„¢Neal and Larry and Margie OaÌ‚â‚â„¢Neal.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. aÌ‚â‚"" 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Poplarhead United Methodist Church with funeral services following at 11 a.m.

contributions can be made to the Poplar Head United Methodist Church Building Fund or the American Cancer Society.
