Armand Germaine Brown

Armand Germaine Brown began a much deserved and well earned eternal rest on August 30, 2024 at the young age of 49 years. Armand was a lifelong sports fan never wavering in his devotion to his Spurs, Celtics and Steelers. He was also an aficionado with a grill and a connoisseur of all things automobile. He worked for over 14 years As a quality control specialist. He was also skilled at various other trades such as roofing, retail management, and automotive bodywork. 

Growing up in Pass Christian, MS, Armand was an active member of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church where he confirmed his faith in the Lord as a teenager. He spent his latter years in Gulfport, MS caring for his mother, Josephine Swanier who helped him find a renewed devotion to his faith. 

Armand is on his next journey, joining those who preceded him, his fellow “Amigo”, his father, Victor Mose Brown Sr.; his big brother, Victor Mose Brown Jr.; his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Remaining behind to keep his memory and legacy alive on this earthly plane is his loving son, LaTrell D Brown of Gulfport, MS; his devoted mother, Josephine Swanier Brown of Gulfport, MS; sister, Kimberly Swanier (Anthony) Augustine of Marksville, LA; 2 brothers, Stephen L (Tarain) Brown of Gulfport, MS and Michael Brown Scott of Richmond, CA; 2 step-brothers, Deon (Celia) Brown of Gulfport, and William Brown of Gulfport, MS; as well as a step-sister Shemiko Brown of Gulfport, MS.

Armand also leaves whom he considered his other children, his nephew, Jordan P Brown of Decatur, GA; his niece and daughter in Christ, Simone Swanier (Devon) Narcisse of San Antonio, TX; his niece, Savannah E Brown of Columbus, GA; and his nephew, Karlos O Jones of Gulfport MS.

Armand also is cherished in memory and love by a host aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will surely carry on his love for them all
