Arlette A. Kewley, age 71, of Gulfport, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012.
Mrs. Kewley was born in Grande Combe, Provance, France. She worked for twenty years as a crisis counselor with the Gulf Coast Women's Center for Nonviolence. She was a member of Olivet Baptist Church in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence ""Thomas"" Kewley and her granddaughter, Chantale Hommel.
Survivors include her daughter, Hellene L. Hommel & husband Rick of Palmer Lake, Colorado; her son, Ronald R. Kewley of Gulfport; three grandchildren, Zachari R. Hommel, Christian T. Hommel and Destiny F. Kewley; her cherished friend, Mary Derlene Parker; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Through all of her lessons, her pearls of wisdom live on in our hearts.
There will be a memorial service held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2012, at Olivet Baptist Church.
