J. Anthony Shavers II, age 16, of Saucier, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2011.
Anthony was a Junior at Harrison Central High School. His interests were football, working out with weights, fishing and his X-Box games. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he was involved in the youth group.
Survivors include father, J. Anthony Shavers; mother, Amanda Sue Shavers; his younger brother, Jacob Alexander Shavers; paternal grandfather, John E. Shavers and wife Angela, paternal grandmother, Ann B. Shavers, maternal grandparents, Charles W. Osbon and Linda D. Osbon; aunts, Linda Bradford, Lisa Mullen (Tony), Ann Osbon and Ariana Shavers; uncle, Charles W. Osbon (Kim); great-uncle, Mark Shavers; and a host of other loving family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 22 from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Saucier Cemetery.
