Anthony C. "Pop" Ferrara

Anthony C. ""Pop"" Ferrara, 90, from Pass Christian MS went to the home of his lord surrounded by his loving family.
Anthony was born in New York City the seventh of eight children. He graduated from The Cooper Union School of Art in NYC with a graphics arts degree.
He married Cecelia, his loving wife of 68 years and had two boys, John who predeceased him in death in 2009 and Ron, currently of Pass Christian. He rose to the position of Art Director at TV Guide Magazine before setting up his own business, retiring in 1980. He and Cecelia moved to Jupiter, Florida before moving to Long Beach and Pass Christian in 2003.
Anthony is survived by his wife, Cecelia, Son, Ron and daughter-in-law Carol of Pass Christian, Granddaughter JoAnn and husband George Koons and their three children Abigail, Alex, and Grace of Pass Christian, Grandson Anthony and Angela Ferrara and their three children Vincent, Leo, and Larina of Marana, Arizona; Grandson John Ferrara and wife Stacy of Brooklyn, NY, Grandson Ron Ferrara and wife Janene and their three children Jaron, Landon, and Ralen of Ringtown, PA; Grandson Stephen Ferrara and wife Kelly and daughter Cori of Folsom, CA.; great-grandaughter Alexis Lehurs of Frederick, MD.
A memorial service will be held at 10 am Monday at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, where friends may visit from 9:30 - 10 am.
