Ansel Marion Coburn

Ansel M. Coburn, age 95, of Long Beach, passed away April 7, 2012. Ansel was born in Jemison, Alabama and had been a resident of the Gulf Coast since 1985. He joined the Army Air Corps and first went to Australia and then to many countries in the Pacific War. He was preceded in death by his son, Howard Eric ""Buddy"" Coburn, his parents, Virginia King Coburn and Luke Coburn, a sister, Florence Coburn LeBlanc and his brothers Udell Coburn, John Coburn and Drury Coburn. Mr. Coburn is survived by his daughter Sheila Coburn Abel, three grandchildren, Milssa (Jared) Ralls, Gina Elizabeth Abel and Brian Howard Abel. He is also survived by one great grandchild, Elizabeth and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME in Long Beach on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 11:30 with funeral services following. Tributes may be offered at www.RiemannFamily.com.
