Annie Mae Miller, age 86, passed away on June 23, 2022 in Gulfport.
She was born in Stone County, Mississippi, attended Stone High School and was a 52-year resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
She worked for Hancock Bank of Gulfport, and retired from Gulfport School District from bookkeeping in the cafeteria. She was a devoted wife for 37 years, until she lost her husband Howard Earl Miller. She loved watching Sunday football and was a big Saints fan. She enjoyed attending Bayou View Baptist Church where she was a member.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otho Smith and Gussie Dale Smith; husband Howard Earl Miller; and siblings, Jimmy Stewart Smith, William Cody Smith, Howard Otho Smith, James Harrison Smith, Juanice Jackson, Ruby Rhea Smith, Daryl Monroe Smith, Dennis Delano Smith and Cliff Thomas Smith.
She is survived by four children, Howard Glen Miller (Jennifer), Kellie Diane Smith, Kaylyn McGuire, James Michael Miller (Kelli); siblings, June Trehan (John), Grey Greye (Ronald), Evelyn Daisy Davis, John Haley Smith (Sue); grandchildren, Jordan Miller, Spencer Miller, Audrey Sumrall, Jon Sumrall (Candace), Kristie Smith, Savannah McGuire, Maddison Cuevas (Tyler), Carson Miller, Landon Miller; great-grandchildren, Carter Gaspard, Lauren Sumrall; and numerous other extended relatives.
Funeral services will be held, Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 11:00 am, with visitation starting at 10:00 am at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. Gulfport. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
