Annie Lois DiLorenzo, age 83, of Long Beach, MS, died March 25, 2010.
She was born on May 11, 1926 in Meridian, MS and moved to Long Beach in 1965. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was devoted to caring for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben DiLorenzo, her sister, Ruth L. Hamilton, and her first husband, Alsee Thompson Murphy whom she will be buried next to in the old Marion Cemetery in Meridian.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Bettie (Jerry) Rogozinski, Lansdale, PA, and Nettie Clark, Perkinston, MS, 4 sons, Patrick E. (Debbie) Murphy, Long Beach, james L. (Lynn) Murphy, Ben Wheeler, TX, Michael (Cindy) Murphy, Amory, MS, and Thomas A. (Ann) Murphy, Ocean Springs, MS, a step-son, Anthony (Becky) DiLorenzo, Long Beach, 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 6 - 8 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm Sunday in the Old Marion Cemetery, Meridian.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
