Anna Sue Spears

Anna Sue Spears, age 84, of Long Beach passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2012.
Mrs. Spears was born in Lexington, TN and was a longtime resident of Long Beach. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Long Beach where she was very involved in the activities of her Sunday School class. She liked to travel with her family and friends and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Along with taking care of her family, she helped her husband, Alva, with the family business, Spears Auto Repair in Long Beach. She was very supportive and was involved in the activities of her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alva Spears; and her parents, Walter and Doshia Stringer.
She is survived by her children, Shirley Jordan (Ronald) of Long Beach, Warren Spears (Rhonda) of Long Beach, and Rhonda Ladnier (Rocky) of Long Beach; grandchildren, Bryan Rolison, Jeremy Rolison, Cassie Payne, Anthony Jordan, Amy Jordan, Jennifer Ladnier; 6 great grandchildren; and lifelong friends, Marie Walley and Faye Woodfield.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
