Anna Graham Tynes Pursley

Anna Graham Tynes Pursley died at her home in Diamondhead, MS, on Feb. 11. 2010. She was born on Jan. 9, 1933, and was retired from the Singing River Hospital System in Pascagoula, MS, where she served as Director of Social Services.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Susan Graham, her first husband, John Tynes and her second husband, Gordon Pursley.
She is survived by two brothers; John Graham of Ovett, MS. and Ken Graham of Diamondhead, MS. two sisters; Esther Shoemake of Enterprise, MS. and Myrtis Davis of Mobile, AL. four children; Gil Tynes of Gulfport, MS., Tammy Tynes Phillips of Gulfport, MS., Clay Tynes of Meridian, MS. and Dennis Tynes of Biloxi, MS. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to: Keep Mississippi Beautiful/Avenue of Magnolias, P.O. Box 1609, Jackson, MS 39215, or to The American Heart Association, 2159 E. Pass Rd., Gulfport, MS 39507.
Visitation will be at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m.
