Anna Kate McGuire, 70, resident of Gulfport, died December 10, 2008 in Murfreesboro, TN.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Norman E. McGuire, daughter Patsy McGuire, mother Charlcie Mae Lee, father James Monroe Lee and brother Edward Lee.
She is survived by her son, Norman E. McGuire Jr. and wife Kitty of Woolmarket, daughter Sherry Head and husband Luther of Smyrna, TN, and daughter Judy Wallace of Columbus, Ga.
She is also survived by seven grandchildren; Matthew Wiggins, Jason Wiggins, Steve Wallace, Ben Wallace, Brett McGuire, Meghan McGuire, Dakota McGuire, and two great grandchildren; Gavin Wiggins and Presleigh Wiggins.
Anna was born in Hattiesburg, MS. She was a devoted wife, mother, and aÌ‚â‚Å“MemawaÌ‚â‚. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 13, 2008, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport, at 2:00 p.m. Friends called one hour prior to services. Burial was in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
