Ann Marie Miller, age 90, passed away on December 14, 2022. She was born to George Pumphrey and Thelma Grey Pumphrey on December 16, 1931 in Washington D.C. She married Horace Miller and moved to Anchorage Alaska with his Air Force career. From there they traveled to Amarillo AFB in Amarillo, TX, and moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 1961. She was a member of the Methodist Church and was a devoted philanthropist. She was involved with Feed My Sheep and volunteered at Gulfport Memorial Hospital. She will be remembered by her family as a Saint.
Her favorite pastimes were crossword puzzles, cross stitch and working in the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Thelma Pumphrey; husband, Horace Miller; and three siblings, Carlos Eugene Albert, Mary Jane Louise Albert and George Alexander Pumphrey Jr.
Survivors include, three sons, Dennis B. Miller (Nanette) of Ocean Springs, Ray Miller (Julè) of Wiley, TX, Mark Miller (Lara) of Jackson, GA; seven grandchildren, Erin Smith, Rachel Espinoza (Eddie), Allison Stinnett (Todd), Dakota Miller (Heather), Montana Miller, Gary Miller (KayCee), Chad Miller; five great-grandchildren, Tyler Maddox, Evan Espinoza, Hayden Miller, Addison Miller, Cheyenne Miller; and one great-great-grandchild, Jhett Maddox.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Ave. Biloxi, MS.
