Ann Gordon

Ann Marie Cuevas Gordon, age 45, of Long Beach, MS, passed away peacefully December 9, 2021, in Long Beach surrounded by family after a courageous fight with cancer.

She was a 1995 LBHS graduate and had been employed with United States Postal Service in Long Beach.

Ann had many interests. She enjoyed having fun with family and friends, crafts, plants, and her pets. She enjoyed her Jeep and was an active participant in her Jeep clubs. She will forever be remembered as the friendly, outgoing, loving person she was. Her favorite times were spent with her children, whom she loved and adored, whether it was on family trips or just spending time together at home.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald C. Cuevas.

Ann is survived by her husband of 18 years, Robert (Chuck) Gordon: her children, who were her world, Cole Gordon and Chloe Gordon: her mother, Madeline (May) Cuevas. As the youngest of her siblings, she is also survived by her sisters, Nancy McMahan (Andy), Sherry McNutt, Donna Marrell (Larry), all of Long Beach; her brother, Ronnie Cuevas (Rachel) of Wasilla, AK. Ann was also the cool and fun aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 13, 2021, from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Hwy 90, Long Beach. Interment will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens 19361 28th Street, Long Beach.
